Review of Joint Assessment Family Framework

If you would like to feed into this review and how voluntary groups can participate please contact Yvonne at PAVO.

“We are listening”
Review of Joint Assessment Family Framework
(CAF; LRSP/TAF; Information Sharing)

Powys has well established JAFF arrangements that have evolved from an earlier commitment to deliver high quality early intervention services for families with additional needs. These arrangements have been in place in Powys for the last 3 ½ years, and as a Partnership we are keen to review local practice to establish:

¡   What is working well and how to further embed these effective working practices?
¡   What could be further improved or adapted to obtain added value, community benefits and evidence improved outcomes for children and young people.

NEW TIME FOR DYFODOL'S AGM: Please book now

Important changes to Dyfodol’s Annual General Meeting timetable

The Dyfodol Powys Futures AGM will be held at 11.30am on the 12th November at Llandrindod Wells, Golf Club. Followed by a light lunch and a Presentation 'Positive Partnerships = Positive Outcomes?' by Prof. Tony Bovaird at 12.30pm

Prof Bovairds' work on Co-production is internationally recognised as both radical and influential and we are very pleased he can join us.

"Co-production means delivering public services in an equal and reciprocal relationship between professionals, people using services, their families and their neighbours" (New Economics Foundation)

This change in timetable is due to an important later engagement by our Keynote Speaker which means he has to be in London that evening.

Play Radnor: Play Portal

Play Radnor are a registered charity that provide play opportunities and resources to children and young people around Radnorshire.

We currently have a wealth of toys, play equipment and craft materials which we are looking to make more accessible to communities and families in and around Radnorshire.

In order to do this we are looking for centres who would be willing to host a Play Portal.
A Play Portal can be a space in a shed, a cupboard or even a box in which we can store toys and equipment, which are then available for hire or purchase at low cost by groups and individuals. Hosting a Portal is an opportunity for libraries, community centres and other community spaces to actively support play in their local area at no additional cost to themselves.
Being a host would entail storing toys and resources, renting them out on request and taking payment. We don't envisage a Portal to be time consuming.
Our Toy Librarian will visit at least once a month to restock and rotate toys and equipment, they will be responsible for all quality control and to deal with any queries. Play Radnor will fully support all Play Portals and hosts.
If you are interested in hosting a Play Portal or have any questions please don't hesitate to get in touch
