You will find on the page "Support for Families - Working with All Agencies" the dates for 2015 of the Local Resource Solution Panels.
The whole process was reviewed last year and many agencies decided that there was not always the need for the Local Resource Solution Panels. Many of the cases that frontline workers are now dealing with and undertaking a Common Assessment Framework are able to build the Team Around the Family.
If your volunteers/staff need further support and training around the whole Common Assessment Framework, Team Around the Family and Local Resource Solution Panels then please do contact us.
There is training, available via the Integrated Training Brochure, and people who can help explain the process to you.
This Network connects third sector organisations with each other, makes links with strategic planning and processes of Children & Young People's Partnership.

Support for Families who may be in need of a Helping Hand
If your organisation wants to support families at an earlier stage ... when they need help find out how you can help:
JAFF (Joint Assessment Family Framework)
Welsh Government’s Families First programme promotes that clear systems for multi-agency support, with an emphasis on prevention and early intervention are put in place. The Joint Assessment Family Framework (JAFF) which includes a ‘Team Around the Family’ model of working is named in the Families First guidance as the backbone of this integrated working.
In Powys the JAFF consists of three processes.
¨ The Common Assessment Framework (CAF) form is the access or referral form completed by a practitioner with a parent/carer and the child, or young person.
¨ The CAF goes to a multi-agency panel (The Local Resource Solution Panel) for discussion and solutions are agreed as part of a plan for the family.
¨ A ‘Team Around the Family’ (or ‘Team Around the Young Person’ if they do not have family) meeting is then arranged involving those directly working with the child/young person/family to review, monitor and add to this plan.
