A one-day course

This course is relevant for managers and practitioners who wish to demonstrate that their intervention has made a difference. Participants will explore a range of methods that can be used with all groups - from children and young people to adults.

The course will include:
  • Clarification of the terminology used when evaluating the impact of your services
  • An exploration of why you need to measure qualitative information and how to do it
  • Considering what soft outcomes are relevant to your setting
  • Exploring a range of methods for measuring soft outcomes
  • How to assess the distance travelled by users of your service
  • Using information on outcomes to improve service delivery
