How do you rate some of the serivces that the council provides?
By services we mean things like your school, public transport and libraries. Some of you may use a service regularly, occasionally or not at all but if you do we'd like to know more.
By "young person" we mean anyone aged between 11 - 25 years who lives in the county.
So if that's you please read on and complete our survey.
Why? The council provides hundreds of services - some pretty visible and obvious - like schools, street lighting and libraries and others - less obvious - like support and care for older people, road safety and running museums and galleries.
Every year we do an adult survey and last year we did a survey for young people too. We had over 500 responses and the findings were presented to the Council's Cabinet and Management Team to help them understand and plan better for the future. We'd like to repeat the survey and ensure your views are heard again and see if they have changed in any way over the past year.
Please answer as many questions as you can, and that are relevent to you. If you don't use a particular service then just choose No Answer. In building the original survey we sought and received invaluable help from the Powys Youth Forum so hopefully we've covered the key services and issues facing you as a young person. We hope you enjoy completing the survey. As a thank you we are offering an Ipad as a prize for one lucky person who completes the survey.
All data collected is confidential and will be held in compliance with the Data Protection Act. The results will be seen by the Council's Management Team and used to help us understand more about your view of life in Powys, the services we provide and how we can improve them.
The closing date for surveys to be submitted is Friday 22 November 2013.
All those who complete a survey and give their details will be entered into a prize draw to win an Ipad. Please see the final section of the survey for details and rules.
