One Powys Plan Consultation Open until 24th January

One Powys Plan Consultation Launched

The One Powys Plan is a blue print document produced by the council, health board, police and third sector. The aim is to combine resources to best effect to improve services for Powys people. The 2014 - 17 plan is being drafted at the moment and your views are sought on what goes in it. A huge exercise to capture all the data we have on Powys and consider what key issues we need to address for residents resulted in 15 big issues being brought forward for the plan. These include housing, transport, mental health, jobs for young people, immunisation, internet access and healthy lifestyles to name seven out of the 15.
To have a look at each issue and contribute your views on how and what should be inlcuded in the final plan please visit the Local Service Board's website:
http://one.powys.gov.uk and click on One Plan Consultation.
The closing date for the consultation is 24 January 2014.

Please take every opportunity to feed into this consultation process.  PAVO are holding events alongside Powys County Council during January across the county.

3rd Sector Provider Forum: 9th December, Powys One Plan Consultation

There will be a meeting of the Forum on 9th December from 10am to 1pm in the Conference Room at PAVO offices, Llandrindod Wells.

The main business will be to consider and respond to the proposed prorities and actions for the 2014-2016 One Powys Plan. This is an important opportunity because the plan will shape commissioning and procurement for the foreseeable future.

I hope that as many as possible will be able to join us in order that we might provide a strong response to this consultation.

If there are any matters that you would like to add to the agenda, please contact me. Also, please let me know if you intend to be at the meeting in order that we might make adequate arrangements. An agenda and associated information will be circulated in due course.
I look forward to hearing from you.
