Aim:
To equip participants with the tools needed to develop a more strategic approach to effective public engagement.
Content:
This one day course will help participants to develop a more strategic approach to public engagement by identifying and developing the processes needed to implement a consistent approach across the organisation. The course will look at strategic planning and organisational development as two key elements to achieving more effective public engagement.
Learning outcomes:
By attending this course you will be able to …
- Better understand the importance of a strategic approach to Public Engagement
- Use a variety of tools to help develop a more strategic approach to Public Engagement
- Develop a strategic plan for Public Engagement
- Develop ways of implementing a more strategic approach to Public Engagement across their department or organisation

- Identify key staff and partners needed to help develop a more strategic approach
- Start to develop an engagement strategy
