3rd Sector Representative: Assessment of Tenders Panel

PAVO are looking for volunteer representatives to be part of assessment panels for a number of forthcoming tenders that are being procured by the Children & Young People's Partnership.  This will provide an excellent hands on opportunity to learn more about the tendering process, how tenders are assessed and will provide invaluable experience when it comes to writing tender applications.

Those wishing to take part must have no interest in bidding for the tenders, or have any connections with any applicants.

You would need to be able to commit up to 3 days, per tender, and be able to use a web based programme to make initial assessments.  Support for this can be provided.

Anyone wishing to be part of an assessment panel would need to have knowledge and experience of:

• the third sector and working in rural Powys

specifically knowledge and experience in any one of these areas:

• family support
• behaviour support
• childcare business support
• emotional wellbeing
