This seminar will examine the issues experienced by children and young people with autism from a range of perspectives including the children/ young people themselves, parents and professionals. Delegates will have the opportunity to hear about:  The services provided by education in Caerphilly, Child Adolescent Mental Health Services in Carmarthen, and the voluntary sector throughout Wales, to support children and young people with autism and their families. What it is like growing up when you have an autistic spectrum condition Being a parent of a child with autism In addition there will be: Opportunities to meet, exchange ideas and network with other practitioners A range of literature around supporting families affected by substance misuse available to explore.
