Cwm Harry Land Trust is very pleased to announce the success of their application under the Big Lottery’s People and Places fund. The trust has been awarded a mainly revenue based grant of £228,000 to facilitate a three year Get-Growing project.
This new project will be linking local food and communities. Amongst many other goals Get-Growing will be setting up 3 new community market gardens in North Montgomeryshire as well as working with schools and the older generation.
The new team of four are now in post and planning the way forward, we would like to invite you to our launch evening to help shape the future direction of the project.
This will take place on Wednesday 30th May at 7.30pm at the Elephant and Castle, Newtown.
