Aims
To build confidence, knowledge and skills to effectively participate in the planning and reviewing of services with public bodies.

Content
The course covers the main stages of effective representation: Being prepared and planning well, making the most out of a meeting and what to do after a meeting. It offers practical skills and information on how best to fulfil your role in this area.

Learning outcomes
By the end of the session participants will be able to:
  • Communicate confidently and effectively in meetings
  • Know where to access relevant information
  • Better understand the process and procedures involved
  • Better understand the public bodies involved
Who this course is for
This course is aimed at Third sector or service user representatives involved in public service design and review and Third sector organisations who are responsible for preparing and supporting people to fulfil this role.
