Aim:
Our Train the Trainer course is designed to assist those who are new to delivering in-house training. You should have a good knowledge of Social Care before attending any of our workshops.
The course is both theory and practice based and will give delegates the opportunity to practice the delivery of training sessions with the aim of enhancing and developing their teaching skills.
Key Learning Outcomes:
At the end of the course all participants will be able to:
■ Understand the role and responsibilities of an associate trainer within social care
■ Explore the use of appropriate teaching and learning strategies
■ Demonstrate their lesson planning capabilities
■ Consider how training sessions might be delivered in a respectful and inclusive way
■ Explain the use of different assessment methods and the need for record keeping
■ Certification
