Adult Social Services join Powys People Direct
From March 31, 2015 Adult Social Services will be joining Powys People Direct, the council’s single telephone number for children and adults information and support services.
Powys People Direct was successfully launched across the county in autumn 2014 for children, young people and families. Over the last four months, the new number has been very successful for children and families contacting council services such as the Family Information Service (FIS), disability services and Team Around the Family (TAF).
From the end of March, anyone wishing to contact the council with an enquiry for adult support will be able to access a range of services for adults, older people, sensory impairment and learning/physical disability services as well as many others.
