Chinese New Year - Crafts and Playing
Play Montgomeryshire and Newtown Library is celebrating Chinese New Year by running a Craft Workshop and Story Telling at Newtown Library on Wednesday 18th February from 10.00 to 12 noon.
Once again they are joining up with Newtown Library to create a special day for children during the school holidays. Newtown Library will be reading Chinese stories to the children from 10 am, and Play Montgomeryshire will be running a Stay and Play session for children of all ages from 10.30 to 12 noon.
The Stay and Play craft session will involve making Chinese Dragons and woolly sheep (Year of the sheep/goat), plus toys to play with and join in with their friends.
As usual members (membership is free of charge) may buy craft materials to do their own crafts over the Holidays.
All children are welcome to join us at this Chinese New Year Play Session in Newtown Library - their will be something for all ages.
