You may be aware that Christopher Salmon, Police and Crime Commissioner and Chief Constable Simon Prince are holding the first official launch of the newly published 5 year Police and Crime Plan in Haverfordwest on Friday at County Hall from 2:30pm.
Given the geography of the Dyfed-Powys area, both the Commissioner and Chief Constable will be holding further events across the 4 Counties. Whilst venues and times of these are yet to be confirmed, the dates provided below are given for your information as we hope to see as many partners and members of the public at the events.
Llandrindod Wells 2nd May;
Carmarthen 24th May;
Cardigan/Aberystwyth 3rd June;
Llanelli 4th June;
Newtown 13th June;
Brecon 14th June;
Pembroke Dock 18th June.
All partners and the public are invited to meet the Commissioner and Chief Constable and to discuss through the aims within the Plan which outlines six key priorities and is available here:
· Preventing and tackling crime
· Protecting vulnerable people
· Bringing people to justice
· Enhancing access to police services
· Ensuring high standards of professionalism
· Spending wisely
