Intergenerational work in Wales – Information and Network Events
Generations Together Cymru (GTC) are hosting three free events across Wales for people interested or involved in intergenerational work to come along find out what GTC has to offer, share experiences and good practice, meet new people to network and swap information in a friendly informal environment.

Everyone is welcome! Refreshments, including lunch, will be provided. Places are offered on a first-come first-served basis, please register online to secure your place for:

European Day of solidarity between generations – 29th April
The EU Day of solidarity between generations aims to raise public and political awareness on the importance of strengthening the solidarity and the cooperation between the different age groups. Read more

Calling All Performers – Everyone’s Future Needs You!
Everyone’s Future is a new intergenerational partnership project between Vibe Experience and Age Concern Cardiff and The Vale aiming to tackle negative stereotyping and challenge age discrimination of younger and older people.

As part of the project they will be putting on an event at the Wales Millennium Centre, Cardiff Bay on 23rd June 2013 and are looking for older and younger dancers, singers, musicians and poets to take part in the event which will be held throughout the day on the Glanfa Stage.Read more

Age-Friendly Cities - 'Creating Age-friendly Places'
A new guide on 
‘Age-friendly places’ has been launched drawing together the latest research, case studies and practical advice. The guide is produced by Manchester City Council and the Beth Johnson Foundation with support from Keele University. Read more
