Dear Dear Employer,
I have great
pleasure in introducing the new Care Ambassador Project for Wales and the UK as
a whole. The Care Ambassador Scheme is an idea designed by Denise Harrison and
adopted by Skills for Care who has agreed for the four Regional Social Care
Partnerships across Wales to adopt the idea in Wales
This will be a
pilot project to run until March 2011 and we are now looking for a number of Care
Ambassadors in Mid Wales.
We hope you are
able to support this project by nominating suitable staff in your organisation
to become voluntary Care Ambassadors as well as agreeing to release them to
attend events as and when required. (This will be a maximum of twice a year for
a maximum of 3 hours per visit – depending on the demand of the events, this
may be less) In return, you can invoice SCiP for £20 per visit.
