Playwork Training- P3 Level 2 Award
Dyfodol Powys Futures is hoping to run the P3 (Playwork Principles into Practice) Level 2 Award early in the New Year. This will be a free course.
The course consists of 5 taught days plus 32 hours of playwork practice (support can be given with finding a placement if necessary). The exact days/dates are subject to confirmation at this point, but there are likely be 2 courses, one in the North of the county and one in the South.
The Level 2 Award forms the first part of the Diploma and is a stand alone qualification, although it does not qualify anyone to practice as a playworker on its own. (the full Diploma is needed for this) It is an ideal first step for anyone without a current playwork qualification or who holds a qualification in a related area eg an early years qualification.
