There is significant recognition of the importance of early intervention and prevention strategies which help reduce negative attitudes that lead to bullying and hate crime incidents. The conference will highlight how supportive schools and communities can challenge attitudes and improve children and young people's resilience.
The conference will provide delegates with specialist workshops, practical information and advice to apply in their settings.

Children in Wales' Preventing Bullying Behaviour Group and Forum is multi-sectoral, and members work together to focus on anti-bullying work with children and young people in Wales. It recognises that effective anti-bullying practice is not the work of one agency alone, and that involving children and young people informs its purpose of making our schools and communities safer places to live, work and play.
