Mencap Cymru ‘Sex, relationships and learning disability’ conference
Mencap Cymru will be facilitating the above conferences around Wales this October aimed at parent carers of young people with a learning disability.
In North East Wales the conference will be held at The Beaches Hotel, Prestatyn on Friday 26th October. Please aim to arrive at 9.00 am for registration and welcome for a 9.30 am start. The session will end at approximately 12.30pm. Tea and coffee will be provided.
These conferences are aimed at parent carers of young people with a learning disability aged between 14-25, however all parent carers and interested professionals are welcome, spaces permitting.
The speaker will be Fiona Speirs who worked with Mencap Cymru last year on our very successful ‘Too Embarrassing to talk about?’ events. More information about Fiona and her work can be found athttp://www.fionaspeirs.co.uk/
