Scouts Wales: Development Officer Vacancy


Full Time Home-based Development Officer
Working in Carmarthenshire, Ceredigion, Pembrokeshire & Radnor
   
Salary circa £23k

This is an exciting and interesting opportunity to contribute to the development of Adult support for young people in Wales.  We are looking to appoint a flexible, enthusiastic and self-motivated person who will work in selected communities in the above areas. The primary objective of the job is the recruitment of adult volunteers. The postholder will also provide initial support to new volunteers and assist volunteer managers in the creation of local development plans.
Initially the post is until August 2014. After this date it is the intention to continue the post subject to funding.

Previous relevant experience is an advantage. A full driving licence and willingness to travel is essential.  The job involves daytime, evenings and some weekend work.  The ability to converse in Welsh is desirable, but not essential.  The post is subject to an enhanced CRB disclosure.
