WCVA Update - 11 February 2019

This week's updates from WCVA

11 February 2019

Hello, and welcome to this week’s newsletter.

Registration for gofod3, WCVA’s massive annual event for the third sector in Wales, is now open! This year we’ll be hitting Cardiff City stadium on 21 March. Please join us to celebrate the third sector in Wales and meet all the other people effecting change across Wales - get your ticket at the gofod3 website today. We’re using this year’s event to highlight some of the amazing work the third sector is doing to support people in Wales – please get in touch with us if you have an inspirational story or an example of some innovative work you’d like to share with the sector.

Last week, Welsh Government announced that over £69,000 in funding has been awarded to help Welsh projects working to improve the lives of people in sub-Saharan Africa – all through round 2 of the Wales for Africa scheme which is administered by WCVA! The scheme enables organisations in Wales to access funding of up to £5,000 for small-scale projects that contribute to Wales’ delivery of the UN Sustainable Development Goals. See the full list of recipients on our website.

Thanks for reading, we’ll catch you next week.
