The Powys Business Awards for 2015 were launched at County Hall in May, with a view to promoting local businesses, and once again the “Social Enterprise and Charity Award” is being sponsored by one of the Counties biggest social enterprises, Mid-Wales Housing Association.

This award is open to any charitable organisation or a community/social enterprise trading in Powys with a social purpose and/or a not-for-profit basis. The judges will be looking for an innovative approach to the way in which the enterprise operates and/ or meet its own primary objectives, makes a positive impact on society/communities and/or environment and projects that have the potential for future development growth and sustainability.
