Aim:

The aim of this day is to ensure that people working with children and young people have a clear understanding of all aspects of Child Protection

Key Learning Outcomes:

By the end of the day participants will have a clear understanding of:

•             Legislation and the All Wales Child Protection Procedures

•             Recognise the signs of different types of abuse

•             Emotional Abuse relates to all types of abuse

•             Different types of neglect

•             Knowing what to do if a child disclosed information to you

•             Guidelines for recording and reporting suspected and/or actual abuse
