Statement of information:
The Minister for Health and Social Services has agreed to the publication of the Autistic Spectrum Disorder Strategic Action Plan ASD SAP, Interim Delivery Plan. This sets out the actions that will be taken to support people with autism and their families and carers during 2015-16. Ministers have made a further £135,000 available to support its implementation. This is addition to £485,000 (SF/MD/0189/15) agreed on 17th March and £24,000 (SF/GT/0837/14) already made available to support the ASD Employment Ambassador Role. £2,580,000 is also made available in the Revenue Support Grant for Local Authorities to support autism services for children and adults.
