Have Your Say Day for young people in Powys

'Have Your Say Day’ for young people in Powys

When: Wednesday 27 November 2013

Where: The Metropole Hotel, Llandrindod Wells

What: This will be a fun day for young people aged 11 – 25 across the county to come together to let us know what they think about various aspects of their lives such as health, safeguarding and jobs. There will be guest speakers including the Children’s Commissioner for Wales and lots of interactive workshops to get thoughts going and opinions flowing.

Why: This event will be one of the key ways in which young people can take part in the One Powys Plan consultation which will shape priorities and change in Powys. The information captured on the day will feed in to the Powys One Plan review.

This is a joint event with the Local Service Board, Local Safeguarding Children’s Board, CYPPand partners. A group of partners including the Junior Safeguarding Children Board and Powys Youth Forum members are working on the event which will be the first event of itskind.in Powys

Please mark the date in your diary and let others know this will be taking place. You may be asked to support, attend or promote and enable young people to attend. More details to follow when we have them.
