The Right Way - a Future Fit for Children

As you are aware we’ve been working on resources jointly with the Future Generations Commissioner,  that set out the principles of a children’s rights approach in the context of the Well-being of Future Generations Act.  The joint resources are now available on our website at the following addresses. https://www.childcomwales.org.uk/publications/future-fit-children/ Welsh: https://www.complantcymru.org.uk/cyhoeddiadau/y-ffordd-gywir-dyfodol-addas-i-blant-yng-nghymru/ It’s made up of three connected parts: •             A self-assessment toolkit that will allow you to measure to what extent your services give  children and young people access to their rights, and how to plan improvements *you need to create an account to access the toolkit but it is free and there is no limit on who can sign up from  each organisation •             A portal with prompts and case studies to guide you in the right direction •             A report with practical tools and examples to help public bodies consider children’s rights across  each of the Well-being goals and the Five Ways of Working under the Well-Being of Future Generations Act. The information, but is of benefit and use to anyone who wants to work to a children's rights approach and  within the context of the Future Generations act.  This resource is publically available now and free to all.
