Hoffai Plant yng Nghymru dynnu eich sylw at y cwrs hyfforddiant arbenigol hwn sydd yn cael ei gynnig am ddim gan Comisiynydd y Gymraeg. Mae'r cwrs yn addas i reolwyr, gweithwyr cefnogi, swyddogion polisi a marchnata, ymddirieolwyr ac unrhyw swyddogion cefnogi, rheolwyr ac ymddiriedolwyr a swyddogion sydd â chyfrifoldeb dros hybu a hwyluso defnydd o'r Gymraeg o fewn eu sefydliad.

Dyluniwyd y gweithdy hwn ar gyfer unrhyw un sy'n darparu gwasanaethau i blant, pobl ifanc a theuluoedd, sy'n dymuno cyrraedd a chynnig gwasanaeth i siaradwyr Cymraeg a theuluoedd dwyieithog. Bydd y gweithdy yn rhoi'r wybodaeth ddiweddaraf i'r cyfranogwyr am ddeddfwriaeth bresennol a Mesur yr Iaith Gymraeg 2010, ac yn edrych ar iaith fel rhan o'r sectrwm hawliau yn Confensiwn y Cenhedloedd Unedig ar Hawliau'r Plentyn (UNCRC). Bydd y cwrs yn cynnig offer a'r syniadau i fynd i'r afael â darpariaeth Gymraeg a defnydd yr iaith. Yn ogystal, bydd yn rhoi syniadau a dulliau o wella eu darpariaeth eu hunain i'r cyfranogwr, beth bynnag eu galluoedd a'u heriau presennol.

Providing bilingual services for children, young people and their families |

Children in Wales would like to inform you of this specialised training course being offered free of charge by the Welsh Language Commissioner. The course is suitable for managers, support staff, policy and PR officers, trustees and any officers who are responsible for promoting and facilitating use of the Welsh language within their organization.
Aims
This training is designed for anyone delivering services to children, young people and families, who wish to reach and serve Welsh speakers and bilingual families. The workshop will bring participants up-to-date with current legislation and the Welsh Language Measure, and will look at language as a rights issue within the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child (UNCRC). It will provide the tools and ideas to address Welsh Language provision and language use. The course will also equip participants with ideas and tools for increasing their own provision, no matter what current capacity challenges there may be.
Learning outcomes
- The learner will understand the context and be familiar with Welsh language awareness training
- The learner will know how to assess current bilingual provision
- The learner will be better informed about specific advice regarding Welsh language considerations for recruitment, translation, technology and design
- The learner will be able to prepare an action plan for developing bilingual services
About the Trainer
This training is delivered by officers working for the Welsh Language Commissioner who are experienced in working with third sector organizations on developing their Welsh medium services.
