19 November 2018 Hello, and welcome to this week's newsletter. Today we've launched our snapshot survey and we want our members' views on all things Brexit! Will your organisation and the third sector thrive after Brexit or will it be a struggle to survive? If you're a member let us know in this quickfire poll! A big thank you to everyone who exercised their democratic right and voted in our board election. We'll be announcing the results for approval by our members at our AGM and Annual Lecture on Thursday. Speaking of which we're really looking forward to hearing from Jo Youle, Chief Executive of the charity Missing People, who will be delivering this year's lecture (more on what you can expect from her and the event here). Funding The Shared Prosperity Fund On the 9th November, UK Government held an engagement exercise with the third sector in Wales to better understand their needs and wants from the proposed Shared Prosperity Fund. DM Thomas Foundation for Young People 2019 deadlines have now been announced for charities working on projects with children and young people with disabilities, who are sick in hospital or who are life limited.
