New Powys Partnership Boards Established
As part of the ongoing work to simplify multi-agency partnerships in Powys and develop the partnership structure of Powys’ Regional Partnership Board (RPBhttps://tinyurl.com/ybkq9dm2) two new partnership boards have been created and have recently begun work upon their terms of reference and action plans.
· Children and Young People’s Partnership Group – This is in effect a refreshed and restructured version of Powys’ previous Children and Young People’s Partnership (which has been in abeyance for the past 18 months). Its purpose is to lead the collaborative development, delivery and transformation of services for children, young people and their families as set out by the Regional Partnership Board (RPB) and the Public Service Board (PSB).
· Older People’s Partnership Board: This is an entirely new Board that for the first time provides a local partnership body with responsibility to take forward the development and transformation of services for older people.
PAVO is working with partners such as PCC and PTHB to shape the development of these boards and their membership. We anticipate there will be arrangements agreed for third sector, citizen and carers representation upon these boards and further information about this will be circulated to PAVO members shortly.
