Autism Survey - Parents / Carers & Individuals with ASD

Parents / Carers

Dear parent / carer

As part of our work this year we are looking at methods of increasing access to leisure and social activities for individuals with autism. One parent has suggested using optional identity band/badges to help staff to recognise when someone has a hidden need. The band/badge would not state someone has autism but staff would be made aware that the band/badge implied this. This could then be supported by awareness raising information.

We are seeking views of parents / carers around this and so would be grateful if you could answer the 5 questions on the link below:

Many thanks

Annwyl riant / gynhaliwr

Yn rhan o’n gwaith ni eleni, rydyn ni’n edrych ar ffyrdd o roi rhagor o weithgareddau hamdden a chymdeithasol ar gael i bobl awtistaidd.  Mae rhiant wedi awgrymu dewis gwisgo breichled neu fathodyn i helpu staff i adnabod rhywun ac arno angen cudd.  Fyddai’r freichled/bathodyn ddim yn datgan bod ganddo awtistiaeth ond fe fyddai’n hysbys i’r staff.  Byddai modd ategu hynny trwy wybodaeth codi ymwybyddiaeth.

Rydyn ni’n hel sylwadau rhieni/cynhalwyr am hyn ac, felly, bydden ni’n ddiolchgar pe gallech chi ateb y pum cwestiwn ar y ddolen isod:
