Aim:
 To understand what a “Legal High” or New Psychoactive substance is.
 To identify where NPS come from.
 To understand where people buy NPS.
 To recognise some of the effects of NPS.
 To be aware of treatment and harm reduction advice
Key Learning Outcomes:
By the end of the training participants will be able to:
 Understand the Historical background of NPS
 Identify the role of the Internet and Trends
 Recognise some New Psychoactive Substances
 Identify Treatment and Harm Reduction Advice
 Recognise the situation in Powys
