Itis estimated that there are thousands of Welsh Speaking children and young people in Wales who have additional learning needs or who are disabled and face challenges with day to day support services, socialising and education. Is this you?
Or are you a professional working with disabled children and young people who speak Welsh. Are you able to offer a service that is respectful of linguistic choices?
It is brought to our attention frequently at Children in Wales that finding and accessing appropriate services in Welsh for children and young people is often a challenge.
Have you experienced this?
If so, you maybe interested in a seminar that aims to take a look at what supports and good practice exists already in various parts of Wales.
We will also consider what Welsh speaking young people and their families report as being the most challenging experiences from their perspective.
For the professionals who may not speak Welsh themselves but are working with Welsh speaking children, young people and families, we hope to improve your understanding and knowledge of services that might help you in your work; look at examples of best practice and consider possible solutions to ongoing challenges in the field.
We are very interested in having a wide range of people attend who have an interest in this field as well as welcoming children and young people who would like to share their experiences to better inform professionals.
Please get in touch with us to book your place and let us know if you would like to make a contribution, be a speaker or just come to share practice and experiences.
We have a limited number of free places for parents, carers, children or young people who are interested in attending. To request a free place please contact lynne.hill@childreninwales. org.uk

Amcangyfrifir bod miloedd o blant a phobl ifanc sy'n Gymry Cymraeg yng Nghymru gydag anghenion dysgu ychwanegol neu anabledd, yn wynebu heriau gyda gwasanaethau cymorth o ddydd i ddydd, cymdeithasu ac addysg. Ydych chi'n un ohonynt? Neu ydych chi'n weithiwr proffesiynol gyda phlant a phobl ifanc anabl sy'n siarad Cymraeg? Ydych chi'n gallu cynnig gwasanaeth sy'n parchu dewisiadau ieithyddol?
Clywn yn aml drwy Plant yng Nghymru fod dod o hyd i, a chael mynediad i wasanaethau priodol yn y Gymraeg yn her i blant a phobl ifanc anabl.
Ydych chi wedi profi hyn?
Os felly, efallai byddwch â diddordeb mewn seminar sydd â'r nod o gymryd golwg ar ba gefnogaeth ac arfer da sydd eisoes yn bodoli mewn gwahanol rannau o Gymru. Byddwn hefyd yn ystyried beth yw'r profiadau mwyaf heriol o safbwynt plant, pobl ifanc a'u teuluoedd sy'n Gymry Cymraeg.
Ar gyfer y gweithwyr proffesiynol nad ydynt efallai yn siarad Cymraeg eu hunain, ond yn gweithio gyda phlant, pobl ifanc a theuluoedd sy'n siarad Cymraeg, rydym yn gobeithio gwella eich dealltwriaeth a gwybodaeth o wasanaethau a allai eich helpu yn eich gwaith; cawn gyfle i edrych ar enghreifftiau o arfer gorau ac ystyried atebion posibl i heriau parhaus yn y maes.
Mae gennym ddiddordeb mawr mewn cael ystod eang o bobl yn mynychu sydd â diddordeb yn y maes yn ogystal â chroesawi plant a phobl ifanc a fyddai'n hoffi rhannu eu profiadau gyda gweithwyr proffesiynol.
Cysylltwch â ni i archebu eich lle a rhowch wybod i ni os hoffech wneud cyfraniad, boed yn siaradwr neu rannu arfer a phrofiadau. Mae gennym nifer cyfyngedig o leoedd am ddim i rieni, gofalwyr, plant a phobl ifanc sydd â diddordeb mewn mynychu. Os hoffech wneud cais i ddod yn ddi-dâl, cysylltwch â lynne.hill@childreninwales.
