Once again Play Montgomeryshire are joining up with Newtown Library to create 5 special days for children during the school summer holidays. Newtown Library will be reading stories to the children and Play Montgomeryshire will be running a Stay and Play session for children of all ages afterwards.

Sessions will run on Wednesday 31st July from 10 to 12 noon, and in August on Wednesday 14th from 2 to 4pm and 28th from 10 to 12 noon; also on Monday 5th Augusts 2 to 4 and 19th August 10 to 12.
The Stay and Play sessions will involve a wide range of interesting and challenging craft activities, plus toys to play with and join in with their friends. Activities include making summer hats, badges, salt do, puppets, clay, masks, totem pole and jewelry, plus so much more.

Due to works being carried out in the library, toys will not be for hire, however members (membership is free of charge) may buy craft materials to do their own crafts over the holidays.

All children are welcome to join us at these Play Sessions in Newtown Library - there will be something for all ages. Parents need to stay with their children as this is an Open Access provision.

Craft sessions will also continue on Saturday 27th July and 31st August, and the last Saturday of the month from September to November from 10.30 to 12 noon.

For more information please phone 01686 626713, email admin@playmontgomeryshire.co.ukor visit our facebook page (Play Montgomeryshire).
