Learning Disabilities & Autism: A Research Conference by Bangor University

Learning Disabilities and Autism: A Research Conference for the General Public
January 30th 2014, 2-5pm                                                             
 Powis Hall, Bangor University, Main Arts Building, College Road
A bilingual event, with half the speakers presenting in English and half in Welsh - translation facilities will be available during the Welsh-medium talks

Dr Elin Walker-Jones: Applied Behaviour Analysis for children with autism
Dr Gemma Griffith: Rare genetic syndromes and behavioural phenotypes
Dr Ceri Christian-Jones: The sexuality of young people with intellectual and developmental disabilities- family perspectives
Anne-Katrin Muth: Music Interaction Therapy for children with autism and their parents
Dr Ruth Wyn Williams: Inclusive research with people with learning disabilities
Jill Grey: The mental and physical health of relatives living with an adult with a learning disability
Dr Leah Jones: Mindfulness-based support for parents of children with developmental disabilities
