What could economic justice mean for Wales? We’re partnering with the IPPR on an event to explore paths to a more just economy in Wales. In this blog, Jacanda Bresson outlines the need for this event, and how you can get involved in the debate.

Welsh Government has launched the next round of the Sustainable Social Services Grant. The Grant serves to support good practise in the social care industry. WCVA is hosting a free webinar that will provide information for potential applicants, and an opportunity to ask questions.

The Esmée Fairbairn Collections Fund

Museums, galleries and partnerships from across the UK can request sums of between £20,000-£120,000 for projects lasting up to three years.

Carers Innovation Fund

The Department for Health and Social Care has made £5 million available to improve support for carers.

The Finnis Scott Foundation

Grants of between £500 and £10,000 are available in the areas of horticulture and plant sciences, as well as fine art and art history.

Volunteering news

New research from Remember a Charity is showing a rise in the significance of legacy donations in Wales. Rob Cope, director of Remember a Charity, blogs for WCVA on the sizable growth potential of gifts in Wills.

Three Welsh organisations have received awards from the Weston Charity Awards. They will each receive a core grant of £6,500 from the Garfield Weston Foundation and a year's strategic planning support from a team of business leaders.Find out who the organisations are here.
