Care Council for Wales Social Care Managers Workshops

 Happy new year!

The Care Council is holding a series of interactive workshops across Wales in February 2014 aimed at social care mangers / deputies / assistants who have supervisory responsibilities. The workshops aim to raise awareness of a range of tools and resources that are available from the Care Council to support induction processes including:

  • The social care induction framework (SCIF) and associated support materials
  • Quality Assured Lifelong Learning (QALL) units for the SCIF
  • E-learning resources and applications (apps)

The workshops will also be used to seek feedback on a review of the Code of Practice for social care workers.

Places are limited and will therefore be limited to 2 per organisation.

To book a place, please complete the reply slip attached and return to me by Friday 31st January 2014. You will receive confirmation once a place has been allocated. If you are allocated a place and cannot attend, please let us know so that your place can be offered to someone else.

Mae’r Cyngor Gofal yn cynnal cyfres o weithdai rhyngweithiol ledled Cymru yn ystod mis Chwefror 2014 ar gyfer rheolwyr / dirprwyon / cynorthwywyr gofal cymdeithasol sydd â chyfrifoldebau goruchwylio. Amcan y gweithdai yw codi ymwybyddiaeth o adnoddau amrywiol sydd ar gael gan y Cyngor Gofal i gynorthwyo gyda phrosesau sefydlu, sef:

•           Y fframwaith sefydlu gofal cymdeithasol (SCIF) a deunyddiau cymorth cysylltiedig
•           Unedau Dysgu Gydol Oes gyda Sicrwydd Ansawdd (QALL) ar gyfer y SCIF
•           Adnoddau a chymwysiadau E-ddysgu (aps)

Defnyddir y gweithdai hefyd i gael adborth ar adolygiad o’r Cod Ymarfer ar gyfer gweithwyr gofal cymdeithasol.

Mae llefydd yn brin felly dim ond 2 le a gynigir i bob sefydliad.

I archebu lle, dylech lenwi’r slip ateb ynghlwm, a’i ddychwleyd ataf erbyn dydd Gwener 31 Ionawr 2014, a byddwch yn derbyn cadarnhad pan fyddwn wedi neilltuo lle ar eich cyfer. Os byddwch wedi cael lle, a’ch bod yn methu dod, cofiwch roi gwybod i ni er mwyn i ni allu cynnig y lle i rywun arall.
