In summary, our response points out:
- there isn't enough data and information to make any comments on what future ALN provision should be.
- there isn't enough information about the proposed new ALN provision.
- there are comments that many children and families have greatly benefited from ALN Units, however, there also comments to say that this is not always the case.
- the ALN provision affects all children in school and their views are also valuable.
- an offer to co-produce and work with the Council and families to evolve an appropriate service which meets the needs of ALL children with ALN.
