2½ days training course

Participants must attend all 3 days**

Aims of the course: Support participants to understand the national context for key working and for the delivery of services for disabled children and children with additional needs and their families Help participants to explore the Early Support principles and approaches and apply them to their practice Enable participants to embrace the family's experience, understanding how to use the family's strengths to solve problems and work in partnership with the family Explore the effective use of the Early Support materials Promote an integrated approach to working with other services and agencies, keeping the family at the centre Explore the key worker's role, responsibilities and best practice in key working Help participants to develop their practical key working skills  Encourage and enable participants to reflect on their practice and make use of those reflections Please return your booking form to Marcia Jones: Children in Wales, 25 Windsor Place, Cardiff CF10 3BZ  Email: marcia.jones@childreninwales.org.uk Tel: 029 2034 2434
