Fund for ‘separated families’ invites the third sector to bid
Third sector groups have been invited to attend a bidders’ event to stake a claim for part of a £14 million funding project supporting separated families.
The Department for Work and Pensions is to launch the Innovation Fund: Support for Separated Families, which contains up to £14 million to finance interventions to help parents work together in the interest of their children.
The key objectives of the Fund are to:
  • Increase the number of children benefiting from child maintenance arrangements by reducing conflict and improving collaboration between separating or separated parents
  • Test a wide range of interventions to understand what is effective in encouraging collaboration and reduce conflict among separating and separated parents
Bids for funding of up to £1.5 million are invited, and the DWP is particularly encouraging bids from the third sector as either a main bidder or a sub-contractor. A bidder event to explain the fund’s requirements more fully and to answer any questions from attendees will take place in Cardiff on 25 July.
To attend this event, email your name and contact information to separated.familiesprocurement@dwp.gsi.gov.uk, stating that you are interested in attending the Cardiff event.

Cronfa i ‘deuluoedd gwahanedig’ yn gwahodd bidiau gan y trydydd sector
Mae grwpiau’r trydydd sector yn cael eu gwahodd i fynd i ddigwyddiad bidio i geisio cael rhan mewn prosiect cyllido gwerth £14 miliwn sy’n cefnogi teuluoedd sydd wedi gwahanu.

Prif amcanion y Gronfa yw:

  • Rhoi cynnig ar ystod eang o ymyriadau i ddeall beth sy’n effeithiol wrth geisio annog cydweithio a lleihau gwrthdaro ymysg rhieni sy’n gwahanu neu wedi gwahanu
Gwahoddir bidiau hyd at £1.5 miliwn, ac mae’r Adran Gwaith a Phensiynau yn annog yn arbennig bidiau o’r trydydd sector naill ai fel prif fidiwr neu fel is-gontractiwr. Cynhelir digwyddiad bidio i egluro gofynion y gronfa’n llawnach ac i ateb unrhyw gwestiynau gan fynychwyr yng Nghaerdydd ar 25 Gorffennaf.
I fynd i’r digwyddiad hwn, ebostiwch eich enw a gwybodaeth gyswllt i separated.familiesprocurement@dwp.gsi.gov.uk, gan nodi bod arnoch eisiau mynd i’r digwyddiad yng Nghaerdydd.
