BBC Children in Need Funding Available!

BBC Children in Need are keen to invite applications from projects working with disadvantaged children and young people particularly to the Small Grant scheme.

Small grants are available for up to and including £10,000 for work with disadvantaged children and young people in Wales.  The process has recently changed  so that applicants will hear the outcome of their application with 8-9 weeks of applying.

They have not received as many applications as expected from this area of work with Children and Young People.

Small Grants are a way of kick starting projects into life and can be a way of evidencing the need to move on to a Main Grant application in the future.  Applications are also available through the Welsh Language, and are keen that those projects that wish to, are able to apply though Welsh.

Small Grant deadline of 01 September and a Main Grant deadline of 15 September coming up.

It would be great if we could see some new projects working with children and young people applying for BBC Children in Need funding.
