Children’s Services Co-ordinator

£21,000 per annum, Dolfor, Mid Wales, 37.5 hours per week. 

The Honeypot Children’s Charity offers both respite breaks and outreach support to young carers and vulnerable children aged 5-12, many of whom would otherwise have nowhere to turn.

At our two beautiful residential sites, children are able to choose from a range of ways to spend their break; swimming in our pool, playing on our adventure playground, riding bikes, visiting pets corner or baking special treats are just some of the ways in which these children are able to play, have fun, and make happy memories which they can cherish for years to come.

This is an exciting new opportunity for a highly organised, motivated and proactive individual to join the dedicated, passionate team at our beautiful site on the outskirts of Newtown.

The role will include liaising with referrers and with the families of young carers, organising staff rotas, planning travel for the minibus that collects then for their respite breaks and entering information on our database, as well as general office duties.

We are looking for someone with strong IT skills, and some experience in a busy administration role. Most importantly, you will have the flexible approach and a can-do attitude needed to work as part of our small team. You are likely to need a car, as we are based in a rural location.
