Tros Gynnal Plant has been commissioned by Welsh Government, over a 3 year period, to promote and support the use of Restorative Approaches as a method of engagement with seldom heard families.  Through the delivery of our Restorative Engagement Training and Development programme across Wales, RAFEP has supported over 300 professionals across a broad range of services within the 3^rd sector to enhance their engagement skills and we have delivered restorative sessions to parents with the aim of helping them deal with conflict more effectively.

Through our programme, professionals and families are provided with tools to build positive and sustainable relationships which aims to support resilience and resourcefulness, decrease unnecessary dependency on services and enable individuals to reach out to services when really needed.

What will happen at the RAFEP All Wales Conference?

Attendees will be inspired through a range of Presentations and Workshops that will provide opportunity to explore our findings and consider the effectiveness of the use of Restorative Approaches within Family Engagement, potentially looking at how this approach fits within the framework of the Social Services and Wellbeing Act (Wales), and the value of this model in alignment with early intervention drivers in the prevention and mitigation of ACEs.

Lunch will be provided and there will be plenty of networking opportunities!

Who is the event for?

This All Wales conference is aimed at Professionals from any background including health, social care, voluntary sector and education as all will benefit from attending. This conference is of particular relevance to Decision Makers influencing the direction of family support services at a strategic level, Service Commissioners, Senior Managers, Training and Development Officers and Managers of practitioners working directly with families.

Gwesty a Sba’r Metropole, Stryd y Deml, Llandrindod, LD1 5DY

Comisiynwyd Tros Gynnal Plant gan Lywodraeth Cymru, dros gyfnod o 3 blynedd, i hybu a chefnogi’r defnydd o Ddulliau Adferol fel modd o ymgysylltu â theuluoedd nas clywir yn aml.  Drwy gyflawni ein rhaglen Hyfforddi a Datblygu ar Ymgysylltu Adferol ledled Cymru, mae RAFEP wedi cefnogi dros 300 o weithwyr proffesiynol ar draws ystod eang o wasanaethau yn y trydydd sector i wella eu sgiliau ymgysylltu ac rydym wedi cynnal sesiynau adferol i rieni gyda’r nod o’u helpu i ddelio â gwrthdaro yn fwy effeithiol.

Drwy ein rhaglen, darperir offer i weithwyr proffesiynol a theuluoedd feithrin cysylltiadau cadarnhaol a chynaliadwy gyda’r nod o gefnogi gwydnwch a dyfeisgarwch, lleihau dibyniaeth diangen ar wasanaethau a galluogi unigolion i ymestyn allan at wasanaethau pan fydd gwir eu hangen arnynt.

Beth fydd yn digwydd yng Nghynhadledd Cymru Gyfan RAFEP?

Caiff y rhai a fydd yn bresennol eu hysbrydoli drwy amrywiaeth o Gyflwyniadau a Gweithdai a fydd yn cynnig cyfle i ymchwilio i gasgliadau ac ystyried effeithiolrwydd defnyddio Dulliau Adferol wrth Ymgysylltu â Theuluoedd, gan edrych o bosibl ar y modd mae’r dull hwn yn cyd-fynd â fframwaith Deddf Gwasanaethau Cymdeithasol a Llesiant (Cymru), a gwerth y model hwn law yn llaw ag ymyrraeth gynnar o ran atal a lliniaru profiadau niweidiol yn ystod plentyndod.

Darperir cinio a bydd digon o gyfleoedd i rwydweithio!

At bwy yr anelir y digwyddiad?

Anelir y gynhadledd Cymru gyfan hon at weithwyr proffesiynol o unrhyw gefndir yn cynnwys iechyd, gofal cymdeithasol, y sector gwirfoddol ac addysg gan y bydd pawb yn manteisio o’i mynychu. Mae’r gynhadledd hon yn arbennig o berthnasol i’r rhai sy’n gwneud penderfyniadau sy’n dylanwadu ar gyfeiriad gwasanaethau cymorth i deuluoedd ar lefel strategol, Comisiynwyr Gwasanaethau, Uwch Reolwyr, Swyddogion Hyfforddi a Datblygu a Rheolwyr ymarferwyr sy’n gweithio’n uniongyrchol â theuluoedd.
