We know that parents play a crucial role in supporting their children's social and emotional development and helping them to do well in school. We also know that access to parenting support benefits a whole range of parents. In Powys we are proud of the range of parenting support offered to our parents from a variety of agencies.
The reason for writing to you is to find out whether you are currently offering any parenting support and the type of support you are offering. We would like to know this so that we can map out all of the support that is available to parents and be able to signpost parents to relevant support. This will also help us to be aware of strengths and expertise across the county and avoid duplication of resources. We woud also like to make you aware of free training and supervision that can be offered locally to support you in your parenting work.
