Police & Crime Commissioner Role - briefing event

FREE EVENT for third sector organisations - What will the new roles of Police and Crime Commissioner mean for you?
As part of the Safer Future Communities Project, WCVA is organising free events over the next few weeks, titled What will the new roles of Police and Crime Commissioner mean for you?
The events will provide information for each of Wales’s four Police and Crime Commissioner (PCC) areas – North Wales, South Wales, Gwent and Dyfed Powys – including:
  • The role and powers of the PCCs, how they will impact community safety partnerships and what the implications will be for the sector
  • How the Safer Future Communities Project can help you prepare for the PCCs
  • What the regional networks are about and how they will work and fit into this arrangement
The elections for the role of the PCCs will take place in November.
An event will take place on Tuesday, 11 September, at Llandybie Public Memorial Hall, Carmarthenshire, from 12.30pm to 4pm.
You can book your place at the event here. Remember, booking is free – but places are limited, so act fast
