Last Autumn term over 875,000 secondary school pupils took part in a national ballot, Make Your Mark. This ballot runs from 12th Aug until 9th Oct, and decides what Members of the UK Youth Parliament should debate and vote on to be their campaign for the year ahead, during their sitting in the House of Commons in November 2015 (tbc).

We are looking for schools to get involved in Make your Mark- hold the consultation in lessons/assemblies between the start of Sept and the 9th Oct. We can send ballot papers direct to schools, and are creating lesson plans and supporting resources. There is still time for schools to register and enter the competition to win

Nôl yn nhymor yr hydref bu dros 875,000 o ddisgyblion ysgol uwchradd yn cymryd rhan mewn pleidlais genedlaethol, Gwneud eich Marc. Mae’r bleidlais hon ar agor rhwng 12fed Awst a 9fed Hydref, ac mae’n pennu pa bynciau y dylai Aelodau Senedd Ieuenctid y DU eu trafod a phleidleisio drostynt fel ymgyrch y flwyddyn sy’n dod, yn ystod eu sesiwn yn Nhŷ’r Cyffredin ym mis Tachwedd 2015 (i’w gadarnhau).

Rydyn ni’n chwilio am ysgolion i fod yn rhan o Gwneud eich Marc – a chynnal yr ymgynghoriad mewn gwersi/gwasanaethau boreol rhwng dechrau Medi a Hydref 9fed. Gallwn anfon papurau pleidleisio yn uniongyrchol i’r ysgolion, ac rydyn ni’n creu cynlluniau gwersi ac adnoddau ategol. Mae amser o hyd i ysgolion gofrestru a rhoi cynnig ar y gystadleuaeth.
