Draig Ffynci yw Cynulliad Plant a Phobl Ifanc Cymru ac mae’n fenter a gefnogir gan Lywodraeth Cymru. Ei nod yw galluogi plant a phobl ifanc i leisio’u barn a chael gwrandawiad gan y llywodraeth ac eraill sy’n gwneud penderfyniadau am bolisïau a gwasanaethau sy’n effeithio ar eu bywydau.
Mae’r rôl yn cynnwys datblygu a chynnal cysylltiadau â Fforymau Ieuenctid a grwpiau eraill o blant a phobl ifanc, arwain hyfforddiant a gweithdai, yn ogystal â threfnu cynadleddau, digwyddiadau a sesiynau preswyl i bobl ifanc. Dylet allu cyfathrebu’n dda â phlant, pobl ifanc a gweithwyr proffesiynol.
Mae profiad o weithio gydag un ai plant neu bobl ifanc yn hanfodol, ynghyd â gwybodaeth am CCUHP, Iechyd a Diogelwch, a gweithdrefnau amddiffyn plant. Mae defnydd o gar a thrwydded yrru’n hanfodol ar gyfer y swydd. Bydd y rôl yn cynnwys gweithio ar nosweithiau a phenwythnosau, ac mae’n amodol ar wiriad CRB/DBS manwl.

South Wales Development Worker (based in Swansea but some working from home possible)
Full time, permanent contract
£24,646pa – 35 hours a week
Funky Dragon is the children and young people’s Assembly for Wales and is an initiative supported by the Welsh Government. Its mission is to enable children and young people to get their voices heard by government and others who make decisions about policies and services that affect their lives.
The role involves developing and maintaining links with Youth Forums and other groups of children and young people, facilitating training and workshops as well as organising conferences, events and residentials for young people. You should be able to communicate well with children, young people, and professionals.
Experience of working with either children or young people is essential along with knowledge of the UNCRC, Health and Safety, and child protection procedures. Access to a car and the ability to drive is an essential part of the job. The role will include work on evenings and weekends and is subject to an enhanced CRB/DBS check.
