Rhwng mis Medi 2015 a mis Mawrth 2016, cynhaliodd Cymwysterau Cymru adolygiad o gymwysterau yn y sector Iechyd a Gofal Cymdeithasol a Gofal Plant. Un o argymhellion yr Adolygiad oedd datblygu cyfres newydd o gymwysterau Iechyd a Gofal Cymdeithasol a Gofal Plant yng Nghymru.  Dechreuwyd ar y gwaith o greu meini prawf cymeradwyo newydd ar gyfer y cymwysterau newydd ym mis Medi 2017.  Fel rhan o'r gwaith datblygu hwn, rydym yn ymgysylltu ag arbenigwyr o'r sector i ofyn am eu hadborth ar ein cynigion. Byddwn yn gwneud hyn drwy gyfres o ddigwyddiadau Cymru gyfan i ymarferwyr, cyflogwyr, darparwyr hyfforddiant, athrawon a darlithwyr, a byddwn yn rhannu agweddau ar y meini prawf cymeradwyo.   Ym mis Chwefror 2018, byddwn yn cynnal digwyddiadau sy'n canolbwyntio ar y cymwysterau canlynol:
(Lefel 4) Arwain a Rheoli Gofal, Dysgu, Datblygiad a Chwarae Plant: Egwyddorion, Damcaniaethau a Chyd-destunau.
(Lefel 4) Gofal, Dysgu, Datblygiad a Chwarae Plant gydag Arbenigedd.
(Lefel 5) Arwain a Rheoli Gofal, Dysgu, Datblygiad a Chwarae Plant: Ymarfer.
Byddwn hefyd yn gofyn i'r rhai sy'n mynychu ystyried y cymorth a'r adnoddau sydd eu hangen i gyflwyno'r cymwysterau o fis Medi 2019.  Yna byddwn yn defnyddio'r adborth o'r sesiynau i gryfhau'r Meini Prawf Cymeradwyo yn barod i'w cyhoeddi ym mis Mawrth 2018.
Darperir manylion ynghylch sut i gadw lle yn y digwyddiadau hyn yn y ddolen ganlynol:

Yn dilyn y gwaith ymgysylltu a wnaed gan Cymwysterau Cymru, bydd y corff dyfarnu sef Consortiwm o City & Guilds London Institute a CBAC yn gwneud rhagor o waith ymgysylltu o ran y trefniadau asesu, beth fydd cynnwys pwnc llawn y cymhwyster ac unrhyw ystyriaethau eraill o ran ei gyflwyno. Bydd y Consortiwm yn rhoi gwybod i'r rhanddeiliad am y digwyddiadau ymgysylltu hyn maes o law.

Between September 2015 and March 2016, Qualifications Wales conducted a review of qualifications in the Health & Social Care and Childcare sector. One of the recommendations of the Review was to develop a new suite of Health & Social Care and Childcare qualifications for Wales.  Work on creating the new approval criteria for the new qualifications began in September 2017.  As part of this development work, we are engaging with experts from the sector to ask for their feedback on our proposals.  We will be doing this via a series of Wales wide events for practitioners, employers, training providers, teachers and lecturers, in which we will be sharing aspects of the approval criteria.  In February 2018, we will be holding events focusing on the following qualifications:
(Level 4) Leadership and Management of Children’s Care, Learning Development and Play: Principles, Theories and Contexts.
(Level 4) Children’s Care, Learning Development and Play with Specialism.
(Level 5) Leadership and Management of Children’s Care, Learning Development and Play: Practice.
We will also be asking attendees to consider the support and resources needed to deliver the qualifications from September 2019.  We will then use the feedback from the sessions to strengthen the Approval Criteria ready to be published in March 2018.
Details of how to book onto these events are provided in the following link:
Following the engagement carried out by Qualifications Wales, the awarding body Consortium of City & Guilds London Institute and WJEC will carry out further engagement in regard to what the assessment should look like, what the full subject content of the qualification should be and any other deliverability considerations. The Consortium will communicate these engagement events to stakeholder in due course.
