Do you have a robust safeguarding policy?

Sometimes I read an email from an organisation asking if they need to have a safeguarding policy and I can sense their reluctance behind the words. In replying, I try to draw out the relevance of safeguarding to their work to encourage and support them to adopt policies and practices that are appropriate to their organisation.
