Children in Wales' Annual Round Table conference this year will cast a spotlight on the differing themes that affect children, young people, professionals and academics in Wales, and will also consider the challenges facing those who are developing practice.

Sophie Howe, Wales' first statutory Future Generations Commissioner, will be one of the keynote speakers to open the conference, and for the remainder of the morning you will hear from numerous experts in their field who will form part of our Panel of Experts.

  • Prof David Egan, Professor of Welsh Education Policy and Director of the Wales Centre for Equity in Education; University of Wales Trinity St David
  • Lynne Hill, Policy Director, Children in Wales/Young Wales
  • Albert Heaney, Director, Social Services and Integration, Welsh Government
  • Dr Andrew Goodall, Director General of Health and Social Services/Chief Executive, NHS Wales
  • Janine Roderick, Policy Lead for Public Health & Policing, South Wales Policy and Crime Commissioner and Public Health Wales 
  • Prof Graham Donaldson (Education) tbc
