 How to find Broneirion
Broneirion is in Llandinam, between Newtown and Llanidloes just off the A470. Turn across the bridge with statue of David Davies & proceed along road approx 200 yards.
Nearest Train Station: Caersws, approx 3 miles from Broneirion has a railway station, with trains running to Aberystwyth/Pwlheli and BirminghamNewtown which is 8 miles from Broneirion also has a station.
Nearest Bus: Bus stops are situated on the A470, a short walk from Broneirion for local buses & a daily National Express coach service to/from London.

The Area
Broneirion, originally the home of David Davies the great Victorian entrepreneur, is situated on the side of a wooded valley overlooking the River Severn and the village of Llandinam. It makes a wonderful setting for the Grade 2 listed pale stone coloured House with its Welsh slate roof. Broneirion is surrounded by over four acres of very beautiful grounds, which look particularly lovely in the Spring when daffodils, rhododendrons and azaleas are in full bloom. The source of the Severn is only a few miles from Llandinam, and the Severn Way Walk passes just above Broneirion. The River Wye also starts from the area. Outdoor Centres are a short drive away, offering such activities as abseiling, sailing, kayaking, etc. Many visitor attractions are within easy travelling distance, as is the coast, nature reserves, historic castles and numerous places to visit and explore. The village of Llandinam offers a pub, church and chapel, a shop & post office selling local produce & groceries. Other shops, including a fish & chip shop, butchers & delicatessen are in nearby Caersws.
